What to expect
We ask for as little as we can. Each rider is a nickname you choose and an age band, never a birth date, photo or address. We'll email you when lessons open.
After you register
You get an account, not a booking
You'll confirm your email, add a rider by nickname and age band, and set your ZIP. Nothing is stored until you finish. There is no booking, no payment and no instructor contact in this phase.
What the map shows about you
A band, never a place
If you turn map consent on, your rider adds one to an anonymous count for your area. The map draws that count as a soft, banded region. Below five riders nothing is drawn. It never shows a name, an age, a home or a point.
What you'll be told, and when
Two emails, both from us
One when your address is confirmed, and one when lessons open in your area. Nothing else unless you turn on updates. Instructors cannot contact you in this phase.

What we never do
No pins, no profiles
Riders are never plotted individually and never appear in a public list. There are no public profiles in this phase, for riders or instructors.
Your controls
Change or delete, any time
Remove a rider, edit their nickname or age band, or switch map consent off from your account. Removal takes them out of the count immediately.
Map consent
Off until you turn it on
Every map consent starts off — for your account and for each rider. Turning one on adds one to an anonymous count for your area. The map draws that count as a soft region in one of five bands and nothing appears until at least five riders there have opted in. You can turn it off again at any time, and the count updates straight away.
